28-15 Cottage Mirror to Jonathan Hoult

Jonathan Hoult stayed in the Cottage this week and fished with David Bousfield . When I saw him this morning he was not sure whether to be pleased with his first visit to Cherry Lake because he had caught this 28-15 Mirror carp below OR be disappointed because he lost a much bigger Carp….clearly 30+……. at the net yesterday. On balance though I think he was pleased and said he was already planning to come back.
Fishing partner David struggled until Thursday evening when he caught a 20lb Mirror on a washed out Cherry Lake bait, to be followed by a 23lb Mirror just 30mins before packing up time this morning! David’s fish also I believe came on the Cherry Lakes ‘Mixed Fruit Delight’ boilies.
Ben Daws who was fishing Cherry Lake for the first time enjoyed his visit and landed a 26lb Carp.
Richard Mascall had an excellent few days in Kingfisher Lodge on Cherry Springs. Indeed it was so good that he has already booked a week next September. He landed 21 Carp over 3 days including a 27lb and two 21lb Mirrors. He also had a further 8 Carp over 15lb. Cherry Lakes Fish Supreme boilies did the trick for him. I will add any good photos to my next update when I hopefully get them from Richard.
