A new 30-02 Common is this weekend’s biggest

A very good weekend across Cherry Lakes, with all guests reporting some very good action and some cracking fish landed.
Paul Hackett in Osprey Lodge, fishing with Tom Sampford in Osprey Lodge, only landed one……but what a fish it was. This cracking 30-02 Common below is Paul’s new PB. It is Cherry Lake’s eighth thirty this month, and we think it is a new 30lb+ for the lake. When I have time I will do the research to confirm this. Paul becomes the newest member of the Cherry lakes 30+ club.
Tom Sampford may not have caught the biggest but he did out fish Paul, to land three 20′s, the biggest being this 25-07 Mirror below.
Cory Hicks in Heron lodge also landed three Carp, including this stunning 27-08 linear Mirror below. Cory described this Carp as the best looking Carp that he had ever landed and reported that he was ‘well pleased’. I am not sure the photo fully does this Carp justice.
Pochard Lodge has produced steadily this weekend including a Mirror of 24-04, I am looking forward to the photos. Cherry Springs has produced Carp to 19-10
We still have a cancellation for the weekend of 12-15 June to re-sell in Osprey Lodge, as well as having Heron Lodge available for 01-05 June and Osprey Lodge for 05-08 June. Other than these dates Cherry Lake is full until August. first come first served.
