We have tried to answer many of your questions about a visit to Cherry Lakes in the various parts of this website. We know we will not have answered them all.

Directions

From the M4: Take junction 15 signposted Swindon. Follow the A419 (a dual carriageway) to Swindon/Cirencester. Follow the road for approximately 15 mins, until you see the signpost for South Cerney. Take this exit, and at the top of the ramp at the mini roundabout, turn left onto Spine Road. Follow this road, past the Cotswold Outdoor Centre and The Four Pillars Hotel and take the 2nd right hand turn onto Station Road. (the 1st r-h turn is into one of Watermark’s Lakes). Follow Station Road for a few mins passing the signpost for South Cerney on your left, and then take the 1st right turn, into Robert Franklin Way. Immediately turn right again into Wildmoorway Lane (which is signposted at the entrance to the lane). Follow this single track lane over a small bridge, and past the 1st gate on your left, then alongside a tall dark wooden fence on your left. Half way along the fence is the sign for Cherry Lakes beside some electric gates. On the post to the right of the gates is an intercom and keypad. Press the button alongside Cherry Lakes to call through to the house so that I can open the gates to let you in. Go through the gate and follow the drive to the left around the Lake to Cherry Lake Cottage.

From the M5: Take junction 11a, for Gloucester and Cirencester. Follow the A417 to Cirencester for miles. At Cirencester, continue on the A417 for Swindon/M4. This road merges with the A419. Take the first exit after the merge, signposted South Cerney. At the top of the ramp, turn left at the mini roundabout, over the A419, and straight on at the next mini roundabout, following the signs for South Cerney, onto Spine Road. Follow this road, past the Cotswold Outdoor Centre and The Four Pillars Hotel and take the 2nd right hand turn onto Station Road. ( the 1st r-h turn is into one of Watermark’s Lakes).
