Kingfisher Lodge on Cherry Springs

Kingfisher Lodge is probably our most popular Lodge across the Cherry Lakes complex. The combination of having a beautiful tree and reed lined 1.5 acre lake and 450 beautiful Carp up to over 30lb+, exclusively available to the guests of Kingfisher Lodge is clearly very appealing. We have a good number of guests who come back every year and just love staying on Cherry Springs in Kingfisher Lodge.

The Kitchen is fully fitted

Similar to all of the other Cherry Lake Lodges, Kingfisher Lodge is fitted to a very high standard. It is double glazed and centrally heated. It has a fully fitted kitchen with an oven, gas hob, kettle and microwave along with a large upright fridge-freezer. It has all the crockery, glasses, cutlery & utensils and pots and pans that you sensibly need for a self-catering holiday. It has a large Smart TV and DVD player. WiFi is also available if needed. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed along with a fitted wardrobe and the bathroom has a large walk-in shower.

It also has a large external deck area, with a table and chairs for four as well as a disposable BBQ holder. A great area to enjoy the afternoon sun and sample some wine!

Kingfisher Lodge’s large artificial grass fishing area is a delight to fish on and can easily host two and up to three anglers. The fact that this large comfortable swim is strategically positioned on a small point makes it easy for anglers to reach all parts of the lake.

Kingfisher Lodge sits on Cherry Springs, the largest of the exclusive lakes. The one bedroom Lodge is ideally positioned so that it's anglers can access all areas of the 1.5 acre lake. With it's beautiful tree lined banks, Cherry Springs is a great place to spend a peaceful holiday break. Like all the one bedroom Lodges, Kingfisher Lodge is very comfortable to stay in and can sleep up to four when the double sofa bed is pressed into use.

Kingfisher Lodge gets it's name from the fact that Kingfishers can often be seen. These delightful birds nest along the river Churn which runs all the way along the lake's long north bank.
