The Ellis’s are Kingfishers!

Paul Ellis has been staying with his son Max and partner Debbie in Kingfisher Lodge this weekend and as they did so well I thought it was worth a dedicated update on their exploits on Cherry Springs.
The fishing started a little slow and they were fishless until Saturday morning when they decided to place their baits much closer to the far margin. To cut a long story short the fishing then kicked off and they shared some 16 Carp of which two were twenties and 9 good doubles. They even managed to have two on at the same time as you can see below. A great Father and son shot.
The successful method was boilies over a bed of spod mix and pellets. They kept baiting the same spots with more fish coming as they built the spots up. Thanks to Debbie for some good photos.
Paul and Max are already scheming about a return visit and we look forward to seeing them on their return. Well done both!
