14 year old Jake Sayer lands three PB’s from the Cottage

Fourteen year old Jake Sayer did extremely well this weekend to catch three Carp in some very difficult conditions and certainly showed some older more experienced anglers who blanked in the cold how to do it.
Jake has been fishing in the Cottage swim this weekend with his Godfather Terry Baker, who is still smiling despite being ‘thrashed 3-0′ by Jake. Before this trip Jake’s PB was a little over 15lb, a figure which he has beaten three times. As you can imagine he is very pleased. Snowmen topped with his visibility pop ups did the trick for Jake.
Jake has landed Mirror Carp of 25-00 and 21-06 as well as a Common of 16lb. The 21-07 Mirror Carp was absolutely stunning in her winter colours. In fact she was so beautiful that I ran back to the house to get the camera! These days running is a very rare and special event!
Very well done Jake, particularly given the difficult conditions of this weekend.
