Phil Saich stayed in the Cottage this weekend with his wife and four friends. Despite spending some time in the hot tub and in front of the log burner drinking wine etc, he did manage some time to get his rods out and he is glad he did.
Fishing Cherry Lake for the first time, Phil caught this lovely 28lb Mirror below. Whilst it pushed his PB close, Phil was particularly pleased to have caught such an impressive Carp in front of his friends.
Dean Knott also sent me through a photo of one of the Carp he recently caught on Cherry Springs, and given it is such a good looking Carp of 19-08, I could not resist including it in this update.
We have no guests booked onto Cherry Lake for the weekend of 11-14 March. I can only think this is because it is the first weekend after our winter prices have finished. So, as a late booking offer for Heron, Osprey and Grebe Lodges for this weekend, we will reduce the price from £495 to £395.
