Aaron starts the New Year fast in Grebe Lodge

Aaron Hayden-Jones along with his lovely wife Sarah decided to squeeze in another trip to Cherry Lakes over the new year period, and Aaron is very glad they did. With baby Elsie not yet walking, they are able to visit and still bring her. The Lodge was a great way for the family to spend a quiet week’s holiday together.
Aaron took full advantage of the great winter conditions and a quiet Cherry Lake. He landed six Carp including three twenties of 27-02, 25-04 and 22lb. Aaron used a Bait Boat to fully test all areas of his swim and caught from several different spots. Small snowmen over pellets and broken boilies seemed to do the trick! Most of Aaron’s fish were caught during the day. The exception being the 27-02 Mirror which as you can see was caught in the dark.
