Colin Hunsley lands Cherry Lake's 49th 30+ of the year.

Along with the rest of the country, Cherry Lakes has burst into life over the last week or two. As you can see from the photo below, 'Clarissa' looks splendid in the sunshine and welcomes our guests to Cherry Lakes. Always a nice start as our guests drive through our gates for the first time.

Colin Hunsley has been staying in Grebe Lodge this weekend and has landed 4 so far, all on the Cherry Lakes Fruit boilies. The biggest to date was this super Mirror of 32-02. She was in tip-top condition and looked great in her winter colours. I did not recognise this Carp as a 'proven 30+ ' fish, and indeed on checking, I am pleased to report that it is a new 30+ for us , as well as being our 49th addition to this year's 30+ catalogue. This of course includes the Carp which were netted and recorded in our January audit.

Regular guest Adam Poole returned with his wife Emma and his in-laws. They thoroughly enjoyed their visit in the sunshine (and morning frosts!). After a slow 36 hours, Sunday produced the goods in the form of these two crackers. This 32-08 Mirror above, and this lovely plated 28-12 below. Very nice indeed, and great to 'show off' in front of the in-laws!

As always I am behind the updates from Simon on our Facebook pages, so I have no doubt I have missed a lot since my last update. One of the fish that caught my eye, was this beauty caught by our good friend Andy Watts. I am unsure of the weight.....but who cares when they look like this?
