Nick braves the January cold to land a 24lb Mirror from Cherry Springs

Nick Smith has braved the elements this week to stay with his lovely partner Louise in Kingfisher Lodge on Cherry Springs.
Nick and Louise were very pleased with their Lodge and very positive about their first visit to Cherry Lakes, and that was before Nick managed to land this cracking 24lb Mirror below. He has also landed 6 other doubles which given the conditions has been a good result. With a few days to go he might even make double figures!
The 24lb was landed on a cold damp January morning on a Cherry Lakes special red boilies over a few broken boilies and pellets. This Carp was stocked in November at 22-08. It has settled well and is obviously a hungry fish!i
